Sir,
I have been a hdfc bank personal laon customer for last 10 months. I have been regularly paying an emi of around 11000/- regularly. I am also holding platinum plus (HDFC) card and super value titatnium card from (STANDARD CHARTED) Now i wish to apply for loan of 1000000/- (10 lacs) agianst property. My property is at ballabgarh and my net monthly salary (excluding medical reimbursement etc ) is around 36000/-. Is there a issue of property being at ballabgarh in obtaining the loan. Somebody told me banks do not prefer to make loan deals at ballabgarh. Am i eligible for this much amount of loan? also What are bank which are giving loan in this area and their rate of interest .

You will need to check with the lender if they accept properties on the outskirts of cities they operate in as collateral. As regards the eligibility, with an income of Rs. 36,000 per month, you should be able to get a loan of up to about Rs. 13.5 lacs. You can check with HDFC & ICICI Bank they are offering at 12.75% & 13.75% respectively for properties at Ballabgarh.

You cannot have 2 different loans against the same property. You will need to either top-up the existing loan to meet your incremental requirements or move to another bank. The best way to compare two financial institutions is to evaluate the EMI for the same payout amounts.
