Ideally for educational purposes, banks give educational loans which are unsecured and at relatively lower rates of interest and have an option of deferred repayment. You should approach nationalised banks in your neighborhood for this.

Banks do offer personal loans for Rs. 3 lacs for 5 years. The emi for the same would be about Rs. 7,456 at 17% rate of interest. Given your salary level, I do not expect you to be able to get a loan of more than Rs. 1.75 lacs and for an EMI of Rs. 2,500 that you are comfortable paying, you can get only Rs. 1 lac of loan.

Ave. cost of Personal loan per lakh per month is 2301 at the lowest rate given to cat A companies. If you approach any bank yo can get a loan as low as 2 L i.e home loan.

Different banks have different evaluation criteria, so you will just have to check with the respective banks about a loan for a 3rd floor property in Rani Bagh.

Your current situation is very similar to mine wherein my liabilities are far exceeding my income.

You can take a loan to construct a house in a place other than where you are posted. With an EMI of about Rs. 12,000, you should be able to get a home loan of about Rs. 11 lacs.

You will need to approach the lender who has submitted your name in CIBIL on account of poor performance on the credit extended by them to you. Only once you are able to regularize the credit to the satisfaction of the lender, would your track in CIBIL show a good score.

In case your track record is not good, chances of you getting another loan are slim, as most lenders check CIBIL for track record of new borrowers.
