Subsidy under the scheme

  • The credit linked subsidy is attainable only for loan amount up to Rs 6 lacs and for additional loans which is above Rs 6 lacs if any, will be non-subsidized rate.

  • To channelize this subsidy Central Nodal Agency(CNA’s) is been indentified by Housing and Urban Development Corporation(HUDCO) and National Housing Bank(NHB).


  • To provide home to the homeless.

  • It’s prime aim are the EWS(Economically Weaker Section) and LIG(Lower Income Group) category people

  • Under this scheme any beneficiary belonging to the EWS and the LIG category can avail loan amount to purchase or contruct houses.

Income Criteria

  • EWS : The minimum annual income of an EWS must be Rs 3 lacs per annum.

  • LIG : The minimum annual income belonging to the LIG category must be Rs 3 lacs to Rs 6 lacs per annum.

Maximum Loan Amount

The maximum loan amount is Rs 6 lacs, however, an individual could sanction loan amount above Rs 6 lacs without interest subsidy.

Repayment Period

You can repay the loan amount within a maximum period of 30 years

  • Up to Rs 30 lacs : 10%

  • Above Rs 30 lacs and up to Rs 75 lacs : 20%

  • Above Rs 75 lacs : 25%
