Among them, the Honda Elevate is the latest entrant, making its global debut in India on June 6, 2023. In terms of dimensions, the Honda Elevate is 4,312mm long, 1,790mm wide and 1,650mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,650mm and a boot space of 458 litres. It has a ground clearance of 220mm, which is more than any of its rivals.

Hyundai Creta

The Hyundai Creta is 4,300mm long, 1,790mm wide and 1,635mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,610mm and a boot space of 433 litres. It has a ground clearance of 190mm.

Kia Seltos

The Kia Seltos is 4,315mm long, 1,800mm wide and 1,645mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,610mm and a boot space of 433 litres. It has a ground clearance of 190mm.

Maruti Grand Vitara

The Maruti Grand Vitara is 4,345mm long, 1,795mm wide and 1,645mm high, with a wheelbase of 2, 600mm. It has not revealed its boot space or ground clearance yet.

Skoda Kushaq

The Honda Elevate is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 121PS of power and 145Nm of torque. It is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox. Honda has also announced that it will introduce hybrid and full EV powertrains for the Elevate later.

Creta

The Hyundai Creta offers three engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that makes 115PS of power and 144Nm of torque; a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine that makes 140PS of power and 242Nm of torque; and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that makes 115PS of power and 250Nm of torque. The petrol engines are mated to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT gearbox, while the turbo-petrol engine gets a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The diesel engine gets either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter gearbox.

Kia Seltos

The Honda Elevate is expected to be priced from around Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom), similar to its SUV rivals. However,
the official price announcement will take place after the bookings open in July.

The Hyundai Creta is price from Rs 10.44 lakh to Rs 18.69 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Kia Seltos is priced from Rs 10.49 lakh to Rs 18.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
