EPF Balance Check – Know Your PF Balance via SMS, Missed Call

Want to check your EPF / Provident fund balance – here’s the 4 easiest ways to check pf balance within minutes. There are several ways to check your EPF balance.

Online

You can check your EPF balance online by logging into the EPFO website using your UAN and password. Once you have logged in, click on the “Member Passbook” tab. Your EPF balance will be displayed on the right-hand side of the page.

UAN SMS

You can also check your EPF balance by sending an SMS to the EPFO’s UAN SMS service. To do this, type EPFOHO UAN ENG and send it to 7738299899. Replace ENG with the language code of your choice. For example, to check your balance in Hindi, you would type EPFOHO UAN HIN.

IVRS

You can also check your EPF balance by calling the EPFO’s IVRS service. To do this, dial 1800-180-1234 from your registered mobile number. Once you have called, follow the instructions on the automated voice response system.

UMANG App

You can also check your EPF balance using the UMANG app. The UMANG app is a government-developed app that provides access to a variety of government services, including EPFO services. To check your EPF balance using the UMANG app, download the app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Once you have downloaded the app, open it and sign in using your UAN and password. Once you have logged in, click on the “EPFO” tab. Your EPF balance will be displayed on the right-hand side of the page.

 

  • Check your EPF balance by giving a missed call. You can check your EPF balance by giving a missed call to 9966044425. This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
  • Check your EPF balance by sending an SMS. You can check your EPF balance by sending an SMS to 7738299899. The format of the SMS is as follows:

EPFOHO UAN ENG

Replace “UAN” with your UAN number and “ENG” with the language you want your balance to be displayed in. For example, if you want your balance to be displayed in English, you would send the following SMS:

EPFOHO 1234567890 ENG

Once you have sent the SMS, you will receive a reply with your EPF balance.

Please note that you will need to have registered your mobile number with EPFO in order to use the missed call or SMS service. You can register your mobile number by visiting the EPFO website or by visiting your nearest EPFO office.

  • IVRS: You can also check your EPF balance by calling the EPFO’s toll-free number 1800 118 000. Once you have called the number, follow the instructions to check your balance.
  • UMANG App: You can also check your EPF balance using the UMANG app. The UMANG app is a government-approved app that provides access to a variety of government services, including EPFO services. To check your EPF balance using the UMANG app, follow these steps:
  1. Download the UMANG app from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store.
  2. Open the UMANG app and sign in using your Aadhaar number and password.
  3. Tap on the “Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation” icon.
  4. Tap on the “View Passbook” option.
  5. Your EPF balance will be displayed on the screen.
